"Rochester: A Solarpunk Oasis" transports my hometown of Rochester, New York, three hundred years into the future, envisioning a vibrant cityscape where Solarpunk aesthetics and ideals flourish.

Holographic Material made for the Signage around the Environment

Each Sign is hand drawn and input as an Alpha into the Material Instance.

Controllable parameters include the side of the LCD dots, an adjustable glitch effect, bounce speed, as well as aesthetic controls. Material Parameter Collections are set up to animate the emissive properties within the level sequence.

I was heavily inspired by combining existing infrastructure and aesthetics with futuristic solarpunk technology to create something that felt futuristic yet attainable and familiar.
